Considering this blog is all about how to make money blogging I am going to assume that, that is eactly why you are here, because you want to make money online using blogs. I decided to create this blog with the purpose of helping those who want to make money blogging, regardless of whether you are doing it for a bit of extra cash or whether you want it to be your main source of income. Either way achieving an income from blogs is fairly straightforward if you are prepared to get focused and stick to it.
The drawback for most people getting started and especially succeeding is the constant flow of new “shiny” courses promising the earth if you only invest your hard earned cash in their instant cash courses. This only serves to distract most new bloggers so that they never actually complete any of them. The cold hard facts are that you need to apply yourself and work to make money blogging no matter what these courses might promise.
So with that said how do I make money from blogging? Well there isn’t a simple answer but over the coming the months I will show you every aspect of my business from the simple tricks to the more in depth methodology. To start I am going to tell you what I actually use to make money with my blogs and which perform the best for me, so lets get started. Now obviously your income and the way you make it depends on whether you are in the niche marketing arena or the internet marketing one. I make 90% of my income from niche marketing so that is what i will be concentrating on.
Ebay Partner Network – EPN : This has now become my number one source of income. 9 months ago that was certainly not the case but using a few different strategies it has fast overtaken and outgrown all other monetisation methods. Now obviously like Amazon this is very much aimed at physical products, which suits me because I hate presell stuff and with physical products I find very little is required.
Amazon Associates: This used to my number one income program until recently overshadowed by ebay. What I really like about Amazon is they have an awesome trust factor across the world, which ebay is starting to make inroads into but Amazon is still the Daddy. The other great thing is they upsell products better than any other merchant online and in fact a large percentage of my income comes from products and indeed niches which I don’t promote. The key is getting people to visit through your link and then let amazon do their thing.
Commission Junction – CJ: Commission junction is cross between a physical product merchant like Amazon and a CPA company. The reason I especially like them is the data feed acess you get which can make it incredibly easy to build out a niche blog and make money from them. In addition I make a health 5 figure income every year from costume sales alone and CJ is definitley the king when it comes to holiday promotions like Halloween.
Google Adsense: You will hear a lot of folks saying adsense is dead but it is simply not true. Adsense can and does make money, it is simply a case of horses for courses. Just test it against other revenue models like the ones on this page and if it doesn’t perform as well then remove it and if it does then leave, simple really. And it is definitley the easiest one to get started with and implement.
Clickbank: Clickbank can be very profitable but the nature of the digital downloads requires much more of a sales effort to convert visitors and persoanlly I prefer to use my time in building more sites and backlinks etc. Having said that it can be very profitable and several marketing friends do incredibly well but it is not my personal choice.
Internet Marketing Product Promotions: Potentially the biggest returns especially with the big launches especially if you have a list to promote to or you can come up with bonuses that have real value. Obviously this requires you are active in the internet marketing niche and can require a lot of work but the rewards are potentially huge
